Schoolhouse Studios
Schoolhouse Studios was established in 2012, with the idea of converting disused buildings into ever-evolving places for creative expression and connection for artists, independent creative businesses, activists, social enterprises, and more. This began with a former school in Abbotsford before relocating to Collingwood the Brunswick and finally taking over the old Coles supermarket building in Coburg. It's an arts collective, with the aim of providing affordable studio space, event spaces, a gallery, and a bar for local artists and the wider community.

About
Schoolhouse Studios is all about being a dynamic and inclusive space for artists, fostering creativity, collaboration, and community engagement with the belief that creative expression and community are the beating heart of our humanity and should be available to everyone. Mostly, it's to support emerging and mid-career artists and to foster community engagement and diversity within the arts sector.
